I do not know how we would have made it through the past months without the Internet. There are
amazing stories out there everywhere to be found. Here are a few links to information regarding other
kids who's stories helped get us through some tough times and helped to make some decisions regarding
Sam.
Other Microvillus Inclusion Disease Patients

Bo
Bo was born on 06/03/07 and lives just a matter of hours away from us. His parents went through a very similar experience to what we went through while trying to diagnose Sam. Our doctors were a little more supportive though. Bo was the 61st baby to receive Omegaven in Boston and is doing very well.

Mallory and Maisy
Mallory and Maisy are sisters separated by 8 years who both have lived a full life with Microvillus Inclusion Disease. Their story gave us much hope when Sam was first diagnosed.

Although Sam's disease may be rare, stories like Sam's are not. We follow the stories below as if they were our own. We laugh
when they laugh, celebrate when they celebrate, and we cry when they cry. We hope for a long and happy life for them all.
