Sam has decided that he doesn't like to eat. Each time that we have tried to feed him today he makes the most horrible face imaginable when the formula hits his tounge. Anything that he gets into his mouth he just spits right back out. Because of this they had to put a feeding tube in through his nose today so that we can at least get the formula into his stomach and make sure that everything works the way it should.

Tonight Jason went in to do Sam's 11:30 PM feeding and still no luck getting him to eat. He acts hungry and looks like he is ready to eat but just doesn't want the formula. We have decided to go with straight formula for Sam because then we know for sure that he is getting the same thing each time and it eliminates any thing that could be caused by what Deb is eating being passed through her milk.

So far everything looks good and Sam has not developed acidosis since he has started getting formula. Deb and I have noticed a few things that concern us, but the doctors say that everything looks good. Unfortunately they were not at home with us the night before he was admitted and for Deb and I we are getting a little Dejavu. Hopefully we are just being overprotective and a little paranoid.
